This is a pretty, one of a kind Shibori silk chiffon scarf by Yasmin’s Silk Studio. This long silk chiffon scarf is hand dyed using the Shibori technique. The silk is twisted and tied around a wooden pole. Then the dyes are applied. It is then steamed on the pole for 2 hours. This process creates beautiful, rich colors. This one of a kind silk scarf is dyed with warm tones of red, golden yellow and taupe in a striped design. The crinkled surface makes it an easy BOHO style just like it is.
This long scarf has so many ways to wear it. It makes a beautiful head band. It’s great wrapped and tied around your neck too. Check out this video and see for your self the many uses of a silk scarf! https://www.wikihow.com/Tie-a-Silk-Scarf
You can iron it while damp if you don’t want the crinkled BOHO style. I f you like the crinkled, BOHO style just twist it gently while damp and let it dry like that.
I used a semi sheer, gossamer 8mm silk chiffon. It is sewn with silk thread. It features traditional hand rolled hems.It can be hand washed in cool water or dry cleaned.
